Multi-Step Approach

In early spring we use Soil Science’s Bloom Driver 2-5-6 fertilizer to encourage growth from the dormant winter period. We have found that this ratio of nutrients is most effective to encourage grass growth and discourage clover.

Early summer we use Soil Science’s Emerald City 8-0-0 granular fertilizer to give your lawn a boost of Nitrogen to create vigorous growth getting your lawn prepped for a summer of being lush and green.

In mid summer we use Soil Science’s Urban Grow 8-3-1 after growth starts to slow and possibly some fade in color to replenish nutrients lost from the vigorous growth of early summer.

Fall is the most important lawn fertilizing all year. We use Soil Science’s Garden Wizard 8-8-8 to give the lawn an abundance of all nutrients to stimulate root growth and store energy during the winter months to encourage a thriving lawn the following season.
